MULTIMEDIA
In my spare time, I like to challenge myself to learn new software.
A prime example is with Adobe Premiere Pro. I love sharing the creative and making process with people who are curious to understand how something works and is made.
These short video clips were filmed, edited, and directed by me, providing some insight behind some of the projects featured on my website.

MAKE A BARBIE DRESS WITH ME
For the highly-anticipated Barbie movie premiere directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, I designed and made a dress to attend the cinema.
I started by shopping my fabric archive and using deadstock fabrics. These included a gold and pink brocade sourced from Hong Kong, a Japanese peacock-green fringed confection from the Tomato Fabric Store in Arakawa, Tokyo, and deadstock pink cotton for the lining from university, which sells students leftover designer fabrics.

I bought a white denim jacket on Brick Lane Road and thought it could do with a touch of colour.
The patterns are inspired by bold graphics and retro 80s East-Asian sports posters.
